Just a quick check in and update. Things are busy busy but we are surviving. Chris has now been in Arizona almost 2 months.. it has seemed twice that long. He and Peewee (Leanne) came and visited on Labor Day weekend.. The visit was wonderful to say the least. Both Ethan and Kaylee were sooo happy to see their daddy which made it even harder to say goodbye, but we did because we had to. In the picture above Chris is just about to leave again... hense his smile isn't too big. He has been doing well at his job in Arizona though he pretty much loathes it but is hanging in. Being just me after I get home from work and on the weekends its kids 24/7 which does have a plus side it leaves me no time to go shopping so I save tons! I have loved having so much time with Ethan and Kaylee, and having my mom and sisters around to help is a huge bonus too. We are thinking that our tenative moving date will be sometime at the begining of 2010, sigh.. so far away! But I hope that we can see eathother as much as time, money and distance allows. We are planning a family trip to Disneyland in November to celebrate Ethan's 5th birthdy and our 7 Year anniversary, (really who needs excuses for Disneyland). Ethan is Loving pre-school to say the least he blurts out the most random things now that he learns there from both teachers.. and unfortunatly the other kids but that is life! Kaylee is now 5 months old already! She is working on sitting up by herself, I give her a couple of more weeks. I was able to track down a Lymes Dr for Chris in AZ which he will see in a couple of weeks, so please pray that she will help Chris get over this terrible disease once and for all. We love you all.

Kaylee is now officially 4 months old! So now we have a 4 month old and a 4 year old. Ethan has been in Pre School now for a few weeks and although he still in very anxious when I leave he is excited to go and upset when it's time to go home. Last week he told me he could not go because he was sick I asked him what was wrong he said his throat hurt and his hands were tired.. I let him stay home and turns out he was sick as was I and Kaylee. Ethan is proving to be such a good big brother he loves to hold Kaylee and I often catch him when he thinks no one is looking talking quietly to her or singing to her. Yesterday Ethan and I took Kaylee to her 4 month check up and he made sure the Dr. heard his prognosis for her being there "Kaylee has allergies" I don't know why he insists on this but according to him that is why she was there and also why she needed shots. Kaylee is keeping me VERY busy. She likes a lot of attention for sure and I am trying hard to sway her from her demanding ways. Last night I think I got up with her 5 times and then we were up at 5am.. yay for the working mom! I definatly miss Chris and all of his help but I know we will push through this hard time and come out better and in Arizona! Also this past couple of weeks Kaylee has finally started to roll over! I never know how I will find her in her crib what direction or location of the crib shes a mover for sure. As for Chris and I the distance apart isn't easy but like I said we are making it work. Thank you to my mom and dad for all the help they give me with the kids. And Peewee and Lisa for taking care of my Chris. Chris's new job is going okay, it's definatly not his ideal job and the pace of it makes him nervous so I am trying to constantly remind him that stress is bad but that is hard 8 hours away. But I'll say it again, sometimes we make sacrifices knowing the end result will be worth it!

I wanted to post some recent pictures of baby Kaylee. It's hard to believe that on Sunday she will already be four months old. She's growing and changing so fast that I sometimes feel like I am not taking it all in as much as I am suppose to. With Chris gone in Arizona she and Ethan are having to be very patient with me because I can only be pulled in so many directions, luckily Ethan is wonderful at that but Kaylee.. not so much. When she wants something she meant 10 min ago! And if you don't ask her how high when she says jump she makes you pay. I totally agree when they say boys are 100 times less maintenance however I wouldn't change having a girl as cute as little Kaylee!

First Blog Ever!

My first blog ever! I decided to start this blog so that our friends and family can keep up with what is happening in our lives. I hope you all enjoy I hope to keep it updated as much as possible.
As you see above today was Ethan's 2nd day of Preschool. I tried to take a picture of his first day but he was way too hysterical to let me take a picture of him. Although it was rough on him at first his 2nd day was much better he realized how fun Preschool was. Today is Chris's 28th birthday! Happy birthday babe! As some of you probably know Chris is currently living and working in Arizona while me and the kids are still here in Porterville. I am continuing to work and save for the next couple of months and hope to follow him soon because being apart is not easy. This past week Rachel was here with the kids to help out with my kids while my mom is still recovering from her surgery, she was such a HUGE help I wish she would stay forever even though I know how eager she was to get back home. Kaylee is doing good, getting so big and such a personality of her own. She laughs and has just one dimple on her right side, im still waiting for the other side to catch up. She sleeps almost through the night except for a 15 interval which is fine by me. I know she and Ethan miss Chris terribly. I hope you all are well and I will post Kaylee pictures this weekend. xoxo
